Was it cold out or what!
Derek and Amanda have been dating for ten years as of Valentines Day, so it only seem proper for them to marry in February. They both hail form Somerville, Ma and wanted to keep their wedding local. They held their ceremony at St. Catherine's Church in Somerville, a beautiful church, and held their reception at the Holiday Inn at Government Center in Boston.
Their was for a moment talk of doing some photos after the ceremony at Fanual Hall, but the weather was just too cold, it was like 10 degrees out without he wind chill. Never the less I did get everyone out in front of the hotel for a few minuets to get a bridal party shot and than had Derek take a stroll with Amanda to street corner and back. We got some great images braving that cold air, but it was worth it.
Everyone than headed inside for cocktails and a few family formal that Amanda and Derek wanted me to do, and I was happy to oblige.
The party went to about midnight, but by than everyone was tired from dancing the night away and was ready for bed, and so was I.
Enjoy the images!
