Saturday, our day started at Joe's former teacher's house in Boxford, where her daughter Nicole was getting ready for her wedding. We were hoping that the rain would hold off for the day, but after Nicole put on her beautiful dress and we opened the door to leave, we realized it was down pouring. Nicole seemed unphased, however. This was the day she would marry the man she loved and that's all that mattered.
The ceremony was held at St. Augustine's in Andover, a beautiful old-fashioned church. In a previous meeting with Nicole and Peter, the priest had them each right a top 10 list of things they loved about the other. Neither had heard what the other wrote until the priest shared them during the ceremony.
Unfortunately, it was still raining pretty hard when we left the church, so we were unable to take some cool photos in downtown Andover as planned, so we all headed off to the Atkinson Country Club in Atkinson, NH. Luckily it stopped raining for a little while before the reception started, so we were able to take a few shots on the beautiful grounds of the country club.
The reception was filled with dancing and laughter, and they had a cool espresso bar towards the end of the night! Check out some of our favorite shots!

Ok, Ok. You might be saying what the hell with that above shot with the curtain, but it was pouring outside and we were doing family formals. So I thought, why not do a old school portrait of Nicole and Peter as well. With a little help from photoshop, I created a vintage print look with that acid fading look like that of old kodak prints in a photo album from the 1980's or 1970's.

(07.14.10 @ 09:15 PM)Joseph, I cannot remember if you were in my math class in 7th grade (blame it on early onset senility), but I would like to claim you as one of mine after seeing the great photos you took of Nicole's wedding. How nice to see so soon the prelude to the wonderful event we attended . Looking forward to more photos of the reception, dancing, and festivities. Rita Pelosi 7th grade math teacher at Belmonte
