I had the awesome pleasure to photograph a culturally rich wedding about two weeks ago in Narragansett, Ri at the Village Inn with Soundia and Konah.

Soundia and Konah are both from Africa and both have traveled the work, going to schools in Europe, the US and all over, but they both fell in love with Rhode Island and each other.
They both knew each other for many years and did not fall in love until they happened to have a long phone call with each other at a crossroads in their life.
The ceremony was outside at the town gazebo, and the reception was at the Village Inn. We took photos down at the rocks on the beach and then headed back to the inn for the reception. Both Soundia and Konah's families spoke and toasted to the couple. So many beautiful things were said, as were some funny things that everyone was totally smiling.
