Last weekend I drive up rt. 93 into the heart of the white mountains to join Meghan and Phil for their wedding at the Grand View Resort in Whitefield, New Hampshire. It was a super sunny and bright day, not a cloud in the sky and you could see for miles and miles all around. Even the top of Mt. Washington was visible and clear. Perfect.

The ceremony took place on the front lawn of the resort with the mountains as the backdrop. Meghan and Phil added their personal touch to many things, including using their dog to actually carry the wedding rings on her own to them. It was so cool to see him bolt down the isle!
The table seating arrangements were little signs planted in a boxed lawn and their was even a home made directional sign to let people know where to go. The reception took place in a tent to the side of the main resort building and it was a pretty cool tent, but there was a single problem. The tent company did not place any lights to light up the tent. Thank god for the DJ from Groove Entertainment who was all ready setting up some uplights, he set up a few extra lights and that made the difference of a totally dark tent to a really warm lighted tent. Thanks Peter!
Back to Meghan and Phil. They were awesome to photograph and needed almost no direction for any photos. They were having a blast and I just went with it.
They wanted to have a special first meet so we set up Phil waiting for Meghan at a barn just down the road and had Meghan come down and surprise him. It was a great moment and from there on out the day was incredible. Mountain light, a perfect warm sunset and sparklers end to the night.
I wrote this all at 1:30 am, so forgive my all ready poor grammar lol.
