Today I had the pleasure of visiting with my good friend and college alum Julie and her fiancée Adam. I went to Salem State College and was part of the honors department for four years with Julie, so we shared many classes and adventures.
I was so happy when Julie told me she was getting married on facebook a few months ago and so today we finally go to do some engagement shoots. Julie has been inviting me to parties for a while now and everyone always seems to land on a day I have a wedding or a family commitment so it was good to hang out with her and Adam today and learn about them.
We started the shoot at Silver lake where Adam proposed to them and then went off to the Rt. 38 Cafe for some warmer shots. I think it was 25 degrees out and my hands were getting numb.
I wanted to post these shots today since I am heading to the Digital Wedding Forum Convention in Nashville tomorrow and won't be back for a week! EEEK! So here is some of the fun from today and the meals we had!
See if you can guess what each of us had in the comments!

Eric and Erin just moved into their new home and are excited about celebrating the holiday there, so what better way to show their love and their new home then a photo shoot?
Eric renovated this older home in lynn to a modern home thats pretty sweet inside. I love when old homes can be fixed up and made new. The wooden floor in the house and the color schemes were great.
Erin and Eric were married this past fall by my associate Don Harney as I was all ready booked for a wedding when Erin first called me. They are a great couple and I look forward to working with them in the future too :)

Sunday I met up with Andy and Tiffany for their rad engagement shoot at Faneuil Hall in Boston.
I first met Andy and Tiffany at a wedding last fall, and right after that they got engaged and booked me. Any is a video guy and I have collaborated with him on few weddings and a music video over the year, so it was exciting to finally be shooting him and Tiffany.
We walked around fanual hall for a bit and then we had some food and drinks at the Hard Rock Cafe. Thanks guys!
One of the cool things from their shoot was there table cards. They will be the table cards! check out the last shot to see what I mean!
Sandy says:
Great Idea, just love it!!! I think you will start a trend!!

Last week on one of our last warm days I met up with Emily and Greg for their awesome engagement shoot at Walden Pond. Emily and Greg were so excited to shoot and were at total ease just having fun and letting me shoot.
We walked around the area, near the pond, which to me looks like a lake, and then off to some large grassy field that kinda seemed out of place.
I can't wait to shoot their wedding!

Fall colors and 65 degree weather! What else could you wish for after a snowy weekend!

On Tuesday I met up with Susan and Nick in Charletown, near the navy yard for their engagement session. The yard has a special meaning for both of them as it is where they had their first date and its where Nick proposed to Susan.
As we waled around and took photos I could easily see why they were so perfect for each other. Nick can make susan laugh and bring a smile to her face at any moment and to me that is special.
