This weekend I had no weddings and the snow and rain washed out my engagement shoots, so rather then spend my time doing nothing, I had some film scanned that I shot on the X-Pan on the fourth of July.
The X-pan is a camera I have been thinking about getting for my wedding work, so I tried it out this summer on a family gathering in mystic seaport. It was a fun day in this rustic town with everyone asking me, "why what's that old camera you have there," and I would tell them, "Its a hasselblad!
The camera was fun to use, but getting the negatives scanned was a pain as it shoots in 2:35:1
I did not use any good film for this trip as I did not know how this camera was going to work out, next time I use it I am gonna use some velvia or portra 160!

I just had another photo spread in Stuff Magazine! I had the assignment of shooting the office space of an interior designer in boston on Newburry Street!
I really hope to get more magazine shoots, they are so fun and give me a change to diversify what I shoot.

My good friends Renatta and Brian recently launched a kids clothing line and I had the privilage to shoot some of their look book yesterday at the Frankilin Park Zoo.
It was a fun time with about 8 toddlers running around and keeping me on my toes. Check out the clothing line at http://prekapparel.com and it can be purchased at Karmaloop as well.

Yesterday I shot a project that I have been planning since the spring. An evil angel in the water. I had to have these wings specially made to be the size I wanted and then I tossed the on the model and into the water to create my vision.
Its art and I would love to know what you think of it, so please comment!
