So today I have the cover of Stuff Boston magazine! Yahoo! I am so excited!!! I got to shoot a story about street vendors all over boston and it was so cool!
Go pick up an issue and read all about the places I got to shoot.
The cover shot was an interesting thing, I was shooting the Speed's Hot dog stand in New Market Square when I thought what best to represent street food then food on the street. So I kinda walked out onto the road, had the guy from the hot dog stand watch over me and proceeded to lay down in the middle of the road and shoot a hot dog.
No sooner then a few clicks into shooting, a cop cruiser pulled up to me and wanted to know if I was just looking to die, lol. I told them I was just trying to get a shot no one else would, they must have thought I was nuts!

On Friday I had the chance to shoot super talented model Jessie at a auto-body shop in East Boston where an old thunderbird has been rotting away for many years.
I have wanted to shoot here for a while, but the something always got in the way, rain, snow, or some other new england disaster!
I set up the shoot with three mono lights and a few 550ex's when I needed them. It was a great shoot and I am very happy with all the shots we got. Jessie was incredible to work with and very brave. The car was filled with all kinds of crap and smelled like cat piss, but Jessie jumped right in for me! It was a hell of a shoot!
Here are some of my favorites!

So this week I had the chance to shoot two couples that are due to give birth in the next two weeks. They were both super excited, as was I. To see my clients families starting after I shoot their weddings is always a cool experience for me.
I shot Ruth and James's wedding just about two years ago and now they are do to have a little boy!
Peter and Tracy are getting married soon and I am shooting their wedding in 2010.
Both shoots took place here in my studio and were about an hour long. I can't wait to do some outside now that the weather is finally warming.

I LOVE IT. Both shoots are amazing. The moms-to-be look so fresh and you captured their "glow" beautifully. Can't wait for you to do ours (when we are ready).

So for Christmas 2008 I spent time with both sides of my family. Both sides now have a bunch of little rascals running around now and seeing them brought back lots of memories of when I was a kid. Below are some of my favorite shots from Christmas eve and day.
Here is AJ!
The 3 amigos.
I used to play with these same kind of toys when I was a kid. The 80's are back!
No one ever believes me about how much food we eat at this time of year, so below is just half of one of the tables from christmas.
And of course no holiday is complete with out a least one or two card games.
My godson Salvator and his mom Lynn.
