10:30 am to 10 pm, thats what this wedding was for me. A awesome long day with so so many awesome photos and moments. I met up with Emily at the seaport hotel where she was getting ready and where the reception would be. She was sitting in a chair having her hair done up by her stylist. Everyone was relaxed and cool and I proceeded to document them. I thought it was very cool that Emily had placed her grandmother's wedding ring on her flowers. It was a nice sentiment and touch.

The ceremony was held at St. Ignatius near Boston College. It was a great ceremony. Everyone left the church to wait outside for the Emily and Greg to exit so that they could blow bubbles at them. It was rad.
From there we headed to boston college campus to do some shots and then to boston's long wharf for some ocean view images. Then it was off to the cocktail hour where a little three piece band was playing modern songs with classical instruments.
The reception was detailed to the T with nautical themes. The seating cards were little wooden boats on a blue table with a giant poster of boston as a backdrop. Every seat had a origami swan. You had to see it.
As the sun set and the speeches and toast started, the reception was in full swing. Emily and Greg enjoyed the evening just like a movie wedding. There was so much magic and love in the air. I did pull them away for a few moments to get some city @ night shots and then it was back to the reception.
I love it.
On a side note, I shot more film at this wedding then I have at any wedding in many years. 16 rolls on my xpan, horizon perfekt and my assistant pentax 645.

Last week on one of our last warm days I met up with Emily and Greg for their awesome engagement shoot at Walden Pond. Emily and Greg were so excited to shoot and were at total ease just having fun and letting me shoot.
We walked around the area, near the pond, which to me looks like a lake, and then off to some large grassy field that kinda seemed out of place.
I can't wait to shoot their wedding!
