At Sarah and Harold wedding I tried a experiment. I shot a movie at their wedding using kodak movie film and some old canon movie camera's from the 70's. I sent my camera's to a machine shop and had them updated to shoot 16x9 on the film. I had no idea what I was going to get.
When the film arrived last week, I was amazed. In true HD on my screen here the film looks incredible. I am trying to get it onto bluray as I type this, but for now everyone can see the magic of super 8mm here online.
Enjoy! I can't wait to shoot more at your wedding!

City lights, trolly and a barking crab. Yup! Its another totally wicked cool wedding! This past weekend I document Sarah and Harold's wedding day. Starting with them at the seaport hotel, down to the Trinity church and then down to the Barking Crab for photos before heading back to the Seaport for the reception.

This wedding just rocked. Sarah was exquisite in her gown, as were her bridesmaids and Harold and his fellow groomsmen all looked sharp in their suits with brown shoes and vineyard vines ties and Tiffany & Co. cufflinks. Don't you love my run on sentences!
The ceremony at Trinity was very beautiful, as the church is just a site to behold. We went to Copley plaza right after the ceremony to take some photos with the church. The only hiccup was a few bums trying to bother us and then photograph the couple with some disposable cameras. Its was pretty funny. I will say this about the church though, they need to take down that ugly ramp in the front and the crazy banners hanging everywhere, they totally take away from the beauty of the church.
Blue lights and hydrangeas filled the reception room at the seaport and Soul Boston provided a cool lay down of music for everyone to groove to with their 1980's muscle car sunglasses.
Enough of my ranting, check out the love and photographs below!

Wednesday found me in one of the trendiest and newest parts of Boston, South Boston, with Sarah and Harold to do a cool engagement shoot.
We started outside their apartment building where a guy with a flute was playing and as we walked by him he did the wedding song, da da ta dum..... you know it, lol. As we looked closer we saw that it one of those recorder flutes you get in grade school, and this was no young guy playing it. We kept walking.
Sarah and Harold are a super awesome couple. I mean, some couples are in love, but this couple had love exploding all around them. In their smiles to each other and little glances and laughs, it could be seen. Love it.
